R v MC Possession of an Offensive Weapon at Wood Green Crown Court – 2022

The client was accused of being in possession of an offensive weapon, namely his key ring was a knuckleduster.

It was disputed that the item was an offensive weapon. The Defence sent a letter of representations requesting the Crown review the case as it was submitted that there is not a realistic prospect of convicting the Defendant and nor is it in the public interest to prosecute him.
