R v TS – Winchester CC

Client was charged with Possession With Intent to Supply Class A.

This was a county lines case, with a vulnerable client and clear evidence that she was being exploited. The police were reminded of their duty to refer the case to the National Referral Mechanism as first responders and then a detailed letter of representations were submitted resulting in the Crown offering simple possession charges which were accepted. The client was sentenced to a conditional discharge.
