R v John Leslie – Historic Sexual Assault – Southwark Crown Court – 2020

Grant Ambridge and Andy Rootsey represented the former Blue Peter presenter who was on trial after being accused of an historic sexual assault when allegedly grabbing a woman’s breast at a Christmas party in Soho in 2008.

After just 23 minutes of deliberations the Jury returned a unanimous Not Guilty verdict following the week-long trial. Gudrun Young KC of 2 Hare Court Chambers instructed Counsel.
