R v K Conspiracy to supply cannabis – Woolwich Crown Court – 2025

Andy is instructed to act for K, who was alleged to have played an integral role within an Organised Crime Group involved in a nationwide conspiracy to supply on a wholesale basis, hundreds of Kilos of cannabis.

A basis of plea was successfully negotiated and agreed with the prosecution, avoiding the requirements for a Newton hearing, reducing the duration of K’s involvement and the scale of the cannabis supply from 127 Kilos of cannabis to 21 Kilos, thereby placing Mr K in a lower sentencing category.
