In accordance with the continued growth and success of Murray Hughman, the practice is delighted to announce the promotion of Lauren Mesure and Michaela De Geus to the partnership.
It reflects all the hard work, ability, and commitment they have and continue to show in the areas of operations and financial management of the Partnership.
Lauren Mesure, as Operations Partner will lead the business operations of the firm, taking responsibility for its operational management, strategic development, and continued growth. She will oversee systems, processes and people that support the firm, while enabling our lawyers to focus on delivering exceptional legal services. She will also maintain oversight of business development and client engagement, working closely with prospective clients and professional contacts to understand their requirements, guide them through the onboarding process and ensure they are matched with the lawyer whose expertise best meets their needs.
Alongside this, Michaela de Geus, our new Finance Partner, taking on an enhanced leadership role in overseeing the firm’s financial management, supporting strategic decision-making, and helping to drive sustainable growth. She will also assume the important responsibilities of Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration (COFA) and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), helping to ensure the firm continues to maintain the highest standards of financial governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
