Andy is instructed to act on behalf of his client who faces a re-trial this year in relation to a ‘stranger’ rape allegation

It is alleged that the complainant was heavily inebriated and had been separated from her friends before being coaxed from the street into a flat where she was locked in a room, held against her will and repeatedly raped before escaping.

The client faces a re-trial after his original trial was aborted in December 2023.

The case continues.
