Elona is a trainee solicitor at Murray Hughman, having joined the firm in June 2022 as a paralegal during her placement year.
Since joining the firm, Elona has graduated with an LLB in Law from Brunel University and is currently preparing for the SQE 1 and SQE 2 exams alongside her training contract. Elona is also midway through completing her police station representative accreditation.
Elona has assisted on a wide range of serious and complex criminal matters, including conspiracy, homicide, organised crime, offences against public justice and sexual offences. Elona provides meticulous case preparation and ensures that every client receives professional and compassionate representation.
Elona is committed to achieving the best possible outcome for clients. She is determined and passionate about constantly developing her legal knowledge and remaining at the forefront of criminal law.
Elona is a member of the London Young Lawyers Group and Women in Criminal Law. During her studies at Brunel University, Elona was heavily involved in the University’s Probono Law Clinic, where she advised victims of domestic abuse and clients referred through Citizens Advice. Elona has also delivered a number of talks at her former secondary school and Brunel University. Elona is fluent in Albanian, so she is able to communicate confidently with Albanian-speaking clients and their families.
